Refund and No-Show Policy for Workshop Participants

1. Introduction & Eligibility

Introduction

Welcome to our Workshop! We’re committed to delivering high-quality educational experiences. To ensure your satisfaction, we have detailed a refund and no-show policy for workshop attendees not utilising HRDC grants. This document outlines the terms and conditions governing this policy, in accordance with Malaysian law.

Eligibility

This policy is exclusively for first-time attendees who have paid for the workshop without the aid of HRDC grants. Attendees utilising HRDC grants are not eligible for this guarantee due to the specific terms associated with those funds.

2. Contacting for Refunds

Method of Contact: Refund requests must be submitted via email.

  • Required Information: Please include the following information in your refund request to ensure efficient processing:
    • Full Name
    • Contact Information
    • Payment Details (such as transaction ID, payment method used)

3. Refund Notification Deadlines

Timing and Eligibility for Refunds:

  • Full Refunds: Requests must be made at least 7 days prior to the event date. Full refunds will be issued to participants who meet this criterion.
  • Partial Refunds: A 50% refund is available for cancellations that are notified between 7 days and 48 hours before the event.
  • No Refunds: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event starts.

4. Method of Refund

Refund Processing:

  • Refunds will be processed using the original method of payment, ensuring a straightforward and secure return of funds.
  • Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 7 to 14 business days after the refund request is approved.

5. Options for Unable to Attend

Transfer or Deferment Options:

  • Participants who are unable to attend may transfer their registration to another individual or defer their participation to a similar future event.
  • Notification Requirement: Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you wish to transfer or defer your registration to ensure proper adjustments.

6. Confirmation and Receipt of Refunds

Communication Regarding Refunds:

  • Confirmation of Receipt: We will confirm the receipt of your refund request via email within 48 hours of receiving it.
  • Confirmation of Processing: Once your refund has been processed, you will receive an email confirmation indicating that the funds have been returned or credited according to the original method of payment.

7. No-Show Policy

Policy for No-Shows:

  • Participants who do not notify us and fail to attend the workshop will be considered no-shows. No-shows are not eligible for a refund. However, they may contact us within 48 hours post-event to discuss potential options for attending a future session, subject to availability and approval.

8. Modifications to Policy

Right to Modify:

  • AIHQ Training and Consultancy reserves the right to modify this refund and no-show policy at any time. Changes will be communicated to registered participants via email or posted on our official website.
